Jesse

Hey all, I'm Jesse, 28 year old transguy. Hoping to start T within the next few months and top surgery hopefully by the end of next year. Always knew I was a boy as far back as I can remember, but didn't start passing as male until my early twenties; been basically living as male (not "out" to my family or at work, but pass well enough that few others know me as female) since getting out of the service almost three years ago. I served in the army as a PATRIOT missile launch station crew member, then trucked for a while, and now am gainfully and happily employed as a plant operator at an oil co. I live with my wonderful boyfriend of more than a decade in central NJ. We've been best friends since we were fourteen, and he was the first person I ever confessed my gender disphoric feelings to, back when we were still "just friends", and he was so completely cool and accepting of it he probably saved my life. My family, on the other hand, is so Christian conservative and anti-gay I can't face ever telling them anything.

Hi Jesse, welcome to the site. I'm a 43 year old ftm, on T for almost a year and had top surgery.

There are a few of us transguys here. This is a friendly and diverse community. You've probably done some looking around before signing up, but do check out the rules. I think the one that's broken inadvertently most often is people talking or asking about hormone dosages. That's not allowed because we don't want to encourage anything but medically supervised transition.

Welcome and enjoy your stay,

Dennis

Welcome Jesse,

I think you will find the other guys here very helpful. As you have already started to discover this site is about giving people a place to express themselves and for people to interact with other Tg's.

Be sure to check out the Wiki as it is full of really helpful info.

Hi Jesse,

Welcome!  We have quite an assorted variety of tg's here and I think we all try to accept each other for the unique individuals that we are, and lend support to each other where we can.  I am a CD plus and have learned a lot from the others here.  Good luck in your journey.  I look forward to hearing more from you.  It's always nice to get different perspectives to tg issues.

No Dennis, I won't hit him with my brick, He might hit back and bruise my delicate skin.  By the way, I'm gonna go out tommorow and find a smaller, lighter brick.

Dennis, uh, you did see that I was getting a smaller brick, and if I swing it at you as hard as I can you'll barely notice did'nt you.  You did see that didn't you?  I'm not worried about you being to tough for me, but after all, it's embarrassing for a lady to have a black eye?  Besides, REAL men don't hit don't hit ladies for being stupid, you gentleman you.

What about us girls?
I think Shelley was just affirming Jesse's F2M nature and assuring him that the guys here are helpful and supportive, should he feel the need to discuss issues that are specifically F2M.

Jesse, welcome from a fellow New Jersey-ite ! (that's Jersey, not Joisey  :D) I live in FL now, but was born in S. Plainfield, lived in Piscataway till I was nearly 5, then grew up in Barnegat Township, exit 67 off the GSP.

As you can see from the variety of responses to your post, we're a friendly and fun-loving crowd.  Hope you enjoy your stay, Jesse, and do stick around.

Thanks Valerie,

That's exactly what I was trying to achieve. No offence intended to anyone else.

Just an aside. Sorry if I'm a little off topic but Valerie. Is it my computer or do you look like you've spent too much time in a tanning salon?

LOL, Cass, you are something  :D  ..something good though, so don't worry! You probably only asked what everyone else was thinking. Actually that photo was taken with a friend's camera phone, which apparently doesn't do color well, hence the redness... It is rather obnoxious, isn't it?  My skin tone is very pale, which I don't like...my face has a little bit of redness to it, but not anywhere near what this pic looks like.

What can I say but reddish purple becomes you. Just watch out for one eyed one horned flying purple people eaters,  ;D

Well now I've got that refrain in my head  :D  Actually, I might rather encounter one, could be quite interesting  >:D
