Finally. It had been sitting in the syringe since Friday afternoon. Today I woke up, washed my hands, listened to a little music, and did the dang thing. It went great!! I watched and read stuff about going in slow and did that instead of jabbing myself, because nothing could convince me to do it. So I just put the needle against my thigh and slid it in slowly. Success!! I feel amazing and confident that I can do this again next week. Just have to be super slow cause this is the first time I didn't feel a single thing.

Gratzes! BTW, that is how I do mine too. It sometimes helps to pinch the skin a bit.

Thank you!! I was taught to pinch the muscle but the last time I did I bled everywhere. My roommate has done my shots for me the past few months and he spreads the skin/muscle out with his fingers and it always went good so that's what I did. Definitely prefer it to pinching.

Congrats! Shot self sufficiency must feel great! I'm shocked that there are actually people out there who jab themselves with syringes. I have no idea how they do that. I've always gone slow.

It definitely feels great. My mind has been on overdrive the past couple days convinced that my transition was gonna stop because I'd never be able to do my shots myself. I'm so happy that I read/saw all that info because it's going to make everything so much better.

I gave myself my first shot on Monday. Doctor showed me how to do in when I was in the office and I had to do it on my own at home. Went well. It helps if you get small gauge needles. That's what my dr did. and I felt Nothing! :D
