hi how's it going just wondering if anybody is from the Portland area, thinking of relocating there in the next 6 or 7 months wondering what the best area to move to is, how the job market is, is rent reasonable going to be looking for a one or two bedroom house!  just a little over all information of the area, how trans friendly is it there?

Which Portland? I hear that Portland, OR has a huge transman community, so they would probably be accepting of a transwoman too.
Just a little faerie punk floating through this strange world of humans.

Interested in the answers here! I've wanted to move to Portland for the last two years, but wanted to put money towards my transition first.

I have friends that use to live in Portland,  OR and they have told me it is a great place. Very liberal, open minded, lots to do and very diverse. One of my friends use to volunteer at a local LGBT clinic (she is a doctor) and says there is a very active trans community there.

They keep telling me I should move there but I am spoiled on Southern California weather.
