I skateboard 24/7 and realize that I am getting better faster after starting HRT. I have been taking Sprio and Estradiol for about 5 1/2 months and I don't think it's likely to be related to redistribution of body fat as that hasn't changed an awful lot...  It could always be a confidence thing, but I think there is a chance it is from HRT Not sure if anyone else has had this experience.

Not sure how relevant this is because I'm not a skater, the last time on one was in the early or middle 60's when they used to have those cheapo wheels of the same type as the clamp-on roller skates that were worn on your shoes.  Yeah, long time ago.  Anyway prior to hrt I used to have 'tiny wobbly moments' where for a fraction I thought I would lose my balance.  A gain in better equilibrium, or muscle loss/fat redistribution, don't know.

and for anyone thinking, hey 'JustASeq' is having this happen while skating and your having a 'problem' while walking, well... wait "justasec' I have an excuse.  Dani

P.S.  like the pink hair, perfect, wish I could pull that off  :-)

I'd put it down to confidence, the HRT is making you feel more comfortable with yourself by the sound of it so your mind is less distracted by dysphoria. Just my theory.

I thought it would negatively affect your balance due to changing proportions and you'd have to get used to it.

My balance is awful now, and I feel more clumsy. YMMV thing I guess :P
