Hi everyone!  Really nervous about this but here we go anyway.  I'm not always very confident in myself and don't feel like I look very good. :-\  Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks!

You look great. Love the glasses and the hairstyle.  You look really cute and have a beautiful smile.

Yeah, for two months on hormones, your body really is at "holy crap" levels.  Boobs like that already?  Wow - you should be proud!

From the shoulders up . . . I don't see your face as the problem.  It's the flat cap and the glasses - to me, they're extremely masculine.  Could you ditch the hat, or at least find one that's designed for a girl your age rather than a man of seventy? ;)  The glasses, they obscure so much of your face, and again they aren't a particularly feminine style.  I can't see your eyes properly, and with a little bold makeup on the eyes, anyone can look decidedly feminine.  Even me.  Stop hiding yourself - you're far more beautiful than you think!

(Do you have your ears pierced?)

Aww but I love wearing the hat and glasses.
I love wearing the dorky look, but that's just me. :p
No piercings (yet).

Here's a facial shot from last Sunday.

12/28/14 - Wk12 Day77

I'm looking into makeup and covering my facial hair and one I get good at that, I can experiment more.
I do have plans for Laser, just need to get funds together.

For me, my face is the weakest point, I feel.
My body is coming together nicely. I'll post update shots on my third month anniversary.

You'll make one fine BBW...  btw I'm married to a BBW.  We come in all shapes and sizes.

I am actually 2 almost 3 years post-op, what issues do you see that keep getting me clocked at times i wont even leave the house for months on end because it is becoming so much of an issue. When i was thin people told me to gain some weight and that that would cover and make it harder for people to tell.

Oh honey,

I'm sorry if you think I was clocking you.  I've looked hard, and can't find anything that's would tell me you're not a woman, Mandy.

As an aside how about your profile picture?  How long ago was that taken?

Okay, thank you sooo much! :)

My eyebrows are being plucked, not on HRT yet, letting my hair grow it, it's getting curly, it's annoying, lol!

My profile. I hate my nose and forehead, ughhhh. My forehead is kinda sloped, ugh, dunno if it's bossing or just slope but I don't like it.

EDIT: Thank you so much girls, it works now! :)
I don't really see much "wrong" and the eyebrows change a lot and so will the longer hair
For the profile your forehead is kinda sloped but that doesnt make it less feminine to me :)

Pleased to meet you ;)

I am still looking for voldamorts wand so everything will be perfect(harrys was broke)

Okay so I am struggling with seeing my self as feminine, which I am sure everyone here does.. I still feel like I can be easily clocked with make up on. It goes in waves in terms of how I feel about it.

Here are some photos:

(i know I should get more feminine glasses, its in the works :P)

I feel like my nose/profile really gives me away.

(no boobs)

I feel like this photo makes me look very masculine. I think its my jawline... its very harsh. I don't know if I like my sharp features.

Any sort of suggestions or ways I can help to feminize my face? Thanks you guys and sorry for the amount of photos, I just wanted to give a good idea of what I look like.

I think you already look feminine. I do not see any problem in your jawline.
Your fashion sense is certainly adorable.

Not sure what to make of this one. Just a quick snap at home (home with the kids today), no makeup. I can see a little rounding of the edges with HRT, but the shadow is killing me.

Certainly seemed good enough for the UPS guy to call me "miss" lol.  (maybe because I was wearing a dress)

Really hate the glasses too, they totally kill my face. Going to get new ones.

I think you look feminine! I think your hair cut is very cute.. the glasses are not very good for your face, but you said you were getting new ones so that's good. The shadow isn't too much, its just a small thing. Its not super eye drawing to me. I think you look great!

Hey I know that story, we have the books and the movies.  I so like the book ending better- He used the wand of invincibility to fix his own, then... well that's enough of a spoiler.

As for the little hits to our self confidence, have you tried a diary?  It's one of the projects my therapist has recommended, that and a list to remind ourselves how fabulous we are, and that haters don't matter.  After my therapy I went to the mall.  While walking out I heard a random guy mutter "fruit" under his breath...   Actually, a few years ago I might have done that as well, so I have to let it go.    Work on loving yourself, you are unique, special, and deserve it.

Thanks Cole!

The shadow is actually pretty bad. Not so much how bad it looks but how fast it grows. Electrolysis is helping keep it under control and I suspect within the next 10 years I'll have a completely clear face.  :( Actually my electrologist said within about a year or two... we will see. I might end up doing some laser too.

The hair is growing in at a nice pace. I am hoping by summer when I plan to go FT I should have a decent-ish length.

I think you look great, i would never have second guessed unless I was on here reading your post.  I think you should definately buy girl glasses since your definately not a boy!  And keep up the good with your transition.

You're being far too harsh on yourself, honestly. You don't look unfeminine to me, you just have very specific and defined features.
Being distinguishable and being masculine are 2 different things. I think you look rather nice  :)
