So I finally came out to my grandparents this evening and everything was so amazing. They are the ones that raised me and I was so worried that they were going to freak out when I told them. I think I had built the fear up in my mind so much I was expecting the world to implode when they found out.
When I told them they were very understanding and my grandma had even thought I might be transgender and had said that to my grandfather before. They are very supportive and happy for me. They kept saying to me "Why didn't you tell us earlier we will support you through anything."
I feel like I am floating on clouds, I am starting HRT within two weeks, it seems so many great things are happening all at once.
