OK so aside from the manic grin and obligatory dance party...

...it's honestly a bit big, I think. I certainly had no issues at all getting in/out of it, and it's got places where it sort of stands out a bit around the neck and underarms. I'm guessing if I lose much more weight I'm gonna need to go down a size. In the meantime I've got it folded up underneath so the full-length top now looks more like the tri-top, and it seems to hold me in enough to look good with my t-shirt tucked in for pretty much the first time in my life, so I'll take that.

..and now, back to manic grinning and dancing...

Congrats  ;D enjoy your new look!!

I have never used a binder, luckily I have quite a small chest and sports bras seem to flatten me quite a bit.....am curious what a binder would do/feel like though.

I've been checking the status on my order like 20 times a day since I ordered mine 5 days ago. Still "processing," ugh.
I'm trying to be somebody, I'm not trying to be somebody else.

Yay! Thanks for sharing the happies! I recommend going down a size, but then again, I do enjoy a "Stuck in my binder" thread!  ;D

Hugs, Devlyn

so... binder may be made of magic. Shrink asked me when he's allowed to start using my new name... I said (eventually) "...today?" so he made me re-sign everything and then congratulated me for signing my first official document. And then I came out to my drama class which was terrifying but I got a round of applause and one lass said I was an inspiration. So no more panicking about the name game any more either.

And yep, definitely like having a hug all day. It took a while to settle it in a way that would stay but I was only wearing the single t-shirt over it (instead of layered tees as I needed with the sports bras) and felt amazing.

I'm honestly starting to see myself in the mirror. It's like nothing else on earth.

I just put mine on... tightly good. It flattens more than my sports bras do, though there's still a little jiggle room.  :-\

I very nearly had to very awkwardly write a "Stuck in my binder with my arms over my head" thread! (Note to other new binder users, don't let your binder's bottom edge get crumpled into the rest of the binder or you will get very awkwardly stuck!

OK. So I'm definitely keeping the XL even when I get a smaller one - just got back from a run and... yeah as soon as being sweaty is involved it's waaay more of a chore to get the damn thing off!

Got my binder today.

Man that thing requires a whole lot of flexibility to take off...

continuing with my week of first steps... I'm now out to both of my drama classes AND today I got my name on a Starbucks cup for the first time, and then tried very very hard not to show any visible signs of the ensuing inner happydance.
