Sounds familiar.   Out is so much better. Relaxing even.

I'm with you Dani. I've got one foot out the door and just trying to figure out how I'm going to tell some of the others in my life . Each step seems to provide more relief but at the same time each step is frighting.

I'm still stuck in the closet trying to figure out how to unlock the door! so far I came out to my mom my sister and my wife. my mom wishes she would wake up from a nightmare haven't heard from my sister since can out to her, my wife move back to Colorado not doing very good with my odds so far! did come out to my dogs and they don't seem to have a problem with it though, as long as they get to go on their walks and get fed

My dog always gave me odd looks when he saw me dressed

This is so true. I suddenly find myself so close to going fulltime but yet so frightened at the response. The fact that most people I study with seem to just accept the fact that I dress female and wear makup without making the obvious conclusion, doesn't make it easier - I know they're okay with my outward expression, but that doesn't really tell me anything about how they'll react when I explain that I'd prefer to be called 'Rina' and 'she'. It's terrifying. At the same time however that step will probably provide more relief than any of the others within the coming out category.

Hang in there Rina. You're almost there and probably a little further than me. I wish you nothing but the best.

Thank you, and likewise! This is/has been going both faster than I like and slower than I like. The first because of the scariness of social consequences (though I'm more optimistic now than I was a year ago), the second because of the enormous relief I've experienced with every small and big step.
