Does not feel good to be OFF HRT! Lost medicine!

Ok I lost my medicine 7 days ago and my insurance would not cover replacements because someone had stolen them the month before (yeah im having bad luck here lately) so I have to wait until December.


I can tell you that my peaceful feeling has dropped quite a bite and also my perception and sense of wonder about sights smell and sounds is starting to dull again. Im even starting to revert to thinking visually about women and my sex drive is starting to come back just a tad. I am having serious mood swings and at one point was having very aggressive thoughts. I do not like this and I pray I can make it until December 1st or so.

I am so sorry. I just found out I have to pause mine until Dec 15th, so I am so empathic in this it's not even funny.

Can you have your doctor write you a temporary script for the days until December and you pay for it out of pocket?  Provided your meds aren't unusual, surely a generic to cover the gap isn't going to cost much at all.  The insurance company doesn't get to decide whether you get medicine or not - that's up to your doctor.  The insurance company just doesn't have to pay for it under certain circumstances.

Well My only option now is to pay cash for a partial script. I can't actually get my insurance to cover it till December 13th now. So if I want 2 weeks supply it will be $50 for both medicines. But I need it so, really not much choice. They wont accept a different size pill as a temp measure. They flagged my account thinking I am doing something bad. When really I honestly had some stolen and then also lost within 2 months. I normally pay $1.20 per generic and about $3-5 per brand name

Are you still homeless? If you are I'd consider getting some kind of strap on pocket bag to keep those precious little pills on your body at all time, no chance of losing or having them stolen that way.
