So near yet so far, give me that T

Hey guys,

So i have an issue, one that im sure many are facing on here, im very down and depressed over the slowness of waiting to get on T.
I have got that bad and not functioning well, that the Dr has managed to acquire a small amount of funding for me to start private treatment to get on T, which is so exciting but also sucks as i still have to pay the rest. Which comes in at £1500, ive managed to sell some of my stuff but still need £1200

Anyway, do any of you guys know good places to post this link, or people that could help with this? Or ways to fund raise etc etc?

It shouldn't cost you that much to get T privately. Where are you looking at? It's normally around £450 for the appointments, plus travel obviously. Look around for the best way to travel, such as advance tickets on trains or coaches. You can also try to arrange to have both appointments on the same day, although this may mean you wait longer. Make sure you set up a shared care agreement with your GP too, so that you only have to pay standard NHS price for the T -  £8.20

Also, how on earth did you wangle money for private? I've never heard of that before.
