I recently came across this cream online, eflora cream n it says it's an enzyme inhibitor for after electrolysis or laser hair removal, so I was wondering could use it after using a facial hair removal cream, shaving or even on other body parts after waxing?

It's Eflornithine HCl 13.9% and basically the same as Vaniqa. I have a prescription for it from my dermatologist and I'm using it. Re-growth from electrolysis is slow so it may be working. I've been using it for about a month now.

Eflora is the knockoff made in India by Ranbaxy and it is the same thing. Requires a prescription though, although some places will sell it online, your dermatologist or even your endo or GP can prescribe it.

I hear it takes up to 3 months for it to work fully and you must apply it every day, twice a day at least 8 hours apart.

It causes acne in some people (not me).

The biggest drawback is that it is expensive but for the first tube you get a $35 rebate at the website. I think laser or electro would be more cost effective, and permanent. After my discounted tube I'm not sure I will buy one at full price.

Sounds pretty good, I'll have to get a script for it n see how much cheaper I can get it that way.
