Hi everyone i'm new to this forum. Well I'm gonna introduce myself a bit, I'm a Chinese that lives in Toronto, Canada I'm 16. I started to notice that I'm transgendered since puberty like it was about 12 or 13. Also that I'm not ready to come out as transgendered but I am intrested of starting my transitioning, taking hormones.
I really need help about this cuz i don't excaclly know that how should start my hrt. I've found websites that sells these pills but they are expensive. I dunno but i heard that you could get it free. Are there anyone who lives here i need your guidance thx

The best way to start is talk to your doctor and see a therapist.

Therapist+doctor is good. I learned from the baseline tests that I had an endocrine disorder. I really would not have wanted to learn about that the hard way.

First thing to do is talk to your doctor. If you suspect your doctor isn't going to be TG friendly, then find another one. You're lucky you're in a large centre. There is a gender identity clinic there, but it requires a doctor referral. Here's the website for it:

Do NOT try and self-medicate. You could cause yourself long term problems. You need to have your blood tests monitored regularly and you need to be under the care of a physician. Living in Canada, there's no reason not to do it. As I said, if your doctor is not TG friendly, then you can find one who is. Try your LGBT helpline for the names of TG friendly physicians.

And welcome to the site :)
