Who else woke up this morning happy to be themselves?

I had to run to the store today and I just had this very content and happy feeling that I was able to put on the clothes I wanted to and not have to hide how I feel about myself.
I've just come out of a 6 year period of suppressing who I really am and I am really loving my true self.
Don't get me wrong there are moments that it is really tough and overwhelming (been having a hard time with family and friends so I've felt pretty depressed) but today I'm just excited that I'm on this road to being me, and not caring what other people think.

What about you? Are you happy with who you are?

Can't say I'm perfectly content, but yeah in general I'm just happy I get to be more like myself.

Sometimes I'm completely elated, in a state I don't recall being in often in the past. It's just nice to feel like you're who you want to be, just that confirmation from yourself does magic, at least for me.

This morning I'm not so happy, for no real reason, but yeah it comes and goes and it's wonderful when you feel on top of the world just by knowing who you are.

This morning was great. Tonight prolly not so much. :-P   I work graveyard shift and won't see my bed again til tomorrow afternoon. Lol

Every single day now I awake euphoric and bursting to get out and about. It did not happen overnight, but it does happen at some point.
