I just came out to my parents and it went really well!
I was absolutely terrified beforehand and managed to just about squeeze the words out whilst hugging my sister (who already knew - I told her when she came to visit me a month or so ago). I'm not totally sure my dad gets it, but he just kinda continued with what he was doing and has since had a few conversations with me about unrelated things. My mum sat down with me and let me ramble through all the things I'd prepared to say in response to the questions they might have asked.
I'm so relieved that this is done! It was really hard talking to them on Skype and things and knowing I was hiding something, and even though I was pretty sure they'd be ok with it the worry that they might be angry or worse upset was consuming my thoughts somewhat.
