First I want to start off by saying it's good to be back. I was a member of this forum before but can't remember my password or my email that my account was attached to. So, here we are again.

Jessi, committed and head over heals about my soulmate, D. He's FtM. We've come a long way in the 6 years we've been together. We've even gotten married, though it was just a ceremony because his paperwork isn't taken care of but in our eyes a commitment to each other is all that should matter. We've been "married" for a little over 2 years now and are looking to possibly make the next step into PARENTHOOD! The only problem is is we have no idea where to start with this. If anyone has any ideas, suggestions,  or help in anyway, please lend a hand. I'd really appreciate it. :)

Welcome back and congratulations!

I am new here, but also (very) happily involved with a TG man.  Although, I have no advice to offer on your next step.

Thank you! Welcome to the community. They are a great support for those of us who are the partners, not just the trans* people. I've found quite a bit of comfort here and I hope you do as well. :)

I'm definitely open to adoption. My heart is just set on physically having a baby right now. I feel like.ot was something I was born for, and I don't know much about sperms donation and stuff like that.

Many do known donors,

They get a few they know donate at a donation party.

The donations cups are mixed up and applied fresh with a sperm application tube.

That way none will know who the parent is unless they feel later to do a test.

Or can order and have delivered by a bank.

I need to do some more research but I just don't know where to start. I've stumbled upon some websites but it's all so much to take in and it stresses me out a bit, but I suppose the steps to motherhood normally feel that way.

I don't think a party would be something we could do. My husband prefers to go stealth and there are very very few people who know about him.
  •

mrs izzy

Sok, just i know a few who went that direction.

I was mtf so my wiggles have been dead for a long time and same my husband was stealth and had no way to hide something like that.

I kind of wish we knew people.in our local community but we've only lived here a couple years and we live in the bible belt so finding people like us isn't exactly easy to do. I wish it were.
  •

mrs izzy

Then i guess you will have to search local banks or mail order.

I heard just for the semen its like 400$ to 600$ each application tube?

Have no first hand knowledge could be more or less.

I've seen that it can certainly be pricey. I've given myself some time and have set up a seperate bank account that is going to be used just to save money for it. I know the DIY insemination kits aren't expensive so it's just obtaining the sperm that's going to prove difficult.

mrs izzy

I so wish you the best.

Under different ways we meet maybe we would have done the natural way.

Just way to late in our transitions to go back.

Keep updated on your progress.

Jessthegirlwizard

I absolutely will.

I'm a cisfemale so the hard part is literally going to be the sperm hunt. I'm hopeful though that we will find the path that works best for us.

  •

Jessthegirlwizard

I also wish you lots of luck in your adoption adventure. :)
