I want to figure out if I really want to look for "casual encounters" on craigslist. And if so, how to go about it. I'm a 40+ transwoman and have had only a few partners - all women. I consider myself lesbian, and feel most attracted to other lesbians but have been attracted to straight women too. I consider being lesbian to be much more a part of my identity than being trans. I don't have regular friends and no close ones where I live, so I don't really have anyone to talk to about it. I've never had casual sex. As far as I can tell, no one has ever been particularly attracted to me, but I'm not overweight or anything else that could be a big physical turn-off, so I don't know why. My partner now is not interested in sex, but it's something I still want.
So do I post a picture of me? (maybe with no face?) or do I ask pictures of them first? What category? Are there people who would respond who I'd even want? How do I keep it safe?
