OMG Jane I'm so sorry to hear about this. You had quite of serious dramas in your life in the 70's.  .... But this one I never heard, this should have been terrible.

Yes, it just blew me away when I heard about the story in the newspaper because I had lived in 3 different cities after surgery, was married in the 2nd one, and moved to the 3rd one days after so I have no idea HOW the reporter in  the 3rd city clued in on the story since NOBODY knew about my past. I left the 3rd city a couple of months later for a job in a different part of the country and fortunately the story didn't follow me.

Thankfully such events are no longer newsworthy!

Brasileira your story was very interesting you deserve a gold metal since you could hide your male parts so well.
I did not get any comments about the photos. Maybe I'm overacting but I had my srs in Greece and not sure if I look in normal range ...

There is no normal range, every woman is different from others, when you look at yourself think how hard was your life all before, now it's time to a new life we all deserve it and it should come from us, be self confident, love yourself and let things happen when you stop worrying you will realize that others will badly notice any difference and nd when they do they will not mind!

I've had a date yesterday with a man whose of course not aware of my past. He seems cute and nice guy and he made lots of compliments about my body, height, you know... I think if the relationship goes on I will at least have to admit of being impossible to have children. Still afraid to tell about what's going on with me. I live in Greece and here people are not so open at such things. The funny thing is that I like traditional men like those in my country but still afraid.....I will find it absolutely normal that any traditional man won't accept situations like ours even if we live deep stealth like me....

I guess it's not necessary to talk about having babies now, You have just started and I guess he will not want to have a baby with you tomorrow   and if you are really planing to hide your past this is not necessary, if in some years he says he want kids then say ok and when it takes long say you went to the doctor made exams and unfortunately you can't bear a baby something which is totally normal in many cis women! with time and experience you will learn to protect yourself and when you decide to tell someone about your past you don't need to go really to the point that you were A T-Girl you can also say you were intersex was born with vagina but no uterus, unfortunately we need to hide and lie about who we really are or were but this does not change our hearts and make us bad persons, the world  is not so fair and easy for us and we need to learn how to protect ourselves , maybe the people you know are not so tradicional as you think cis  people also hides themselves  and you can get really surprised when you start to find it out!

Thank you, I like the way you point it, I was thinking about intersex think or something like pseudoermaphodism (if I spell it right) a traditional man especially in my country would never want to know that you once were like him! So something like genital dismorphy sounds better, at least for now... I also wish my surgery marks were less visible ... If you open the photo you  can easily notice the color dismorphy.....

Many.  I agree with what Brasilera has said.  I am a traditional woman.  I LOVE strong traditional men.  Once you have established a deep loving relationship, the time will come.
