I've been having weekly visits to electro. I'm noticing pits in my cheeks like acne scarring. Is this normal? If so is there anything I can do to prevent or fix it? thx

To prevent it get a different electrolosist immediately. What technique are you using? Multiprobe galvanic is the best option but you really need to see a professional operator. My electro says she sees a number of girls who have had scarring from the other method (thermolysis) especially when wielded by corner store beauticians who were only used to occasionally removing a few stray hairs from old cis women. It's your face, you need to get a good operator. What state do you live in again?

To high a galvanic or thermal setting.

Proper balance vs settings and time.

So yes get a new tech.

Run away screaming!

When my old electrologist went on vacation last May, her daughter filled in for her.  Mah face looked like hamburger for almost 2 months afterward and needed to apply foundation with a spackling knife.  Never been back.  Ever since I switched to multi-probe galvanic and a better tech, things are much better.

Talk to your dermatologist and he/she can prescribe something. Mederma works for some people. I've also used hydroquinone with some success to fade scars.
