Would she need implants? Would HRT do all the work?

Hey so my girlfriend is 5'4, 21 years old, and weighs 104 pounds. She's not anorexic or anything. That's just the way her body is.

She's pre everything, and she hasn't started hrt yet. She really wants boobs. Like she wants them more than anything.

She wants to be able to get up to a C or a D cup. Personally, I think that even a C cup would look big on her. I think she should get a C cup.
Could she achieve the C cup with just hrt? Or would she need implants?

It takes at least 2 years of HRT to see what nature will bring... if unsatisfied after 2 years, BA can seriously be considered. In cis woman, breast growth takes about 5+ years, and maturation even longer (until pregnancy,  usually)

No reputable surgeon will do implants prior to HRT doing its job, otherwise the boobs can look terrible as they keep growing on top of the implant and can look really weird.

Just tell her to take her time as Pink said she is going to go through puberty - again - with all the changes that gives a girl.

She can use breast forms if she wants instant boob, cheaper and a lot safer.

I agree with Cindy, your girlfriend should let the HRT do its magic. Last year after about 14 months on HRT, I asked my Doctor for a referral to a surgeon for Breast Augmentation , but after discussing matters with wiser heads, both other TS friends and CIS females, all advised me to wait until I had been on HRT  for a whole yet. I am very glad I did as I am now a full B Cup heading for C and I would have looked quite out of place with  breast implants.
I am not saying I will not get the,, just not yet, until my breast stop growing.

I find with a decent push up bra I now have a decent  cleavage (and that can be highlighted even more with some highlighted in the cleavage.

Well she's not related to any of the people she lives with. She was adopted from Russia, so we don't know her family history/biological details.

Because the size of a transwomans breast is usually just shy of a cup size of their closest relatives (mother & sisters). So Kate was asking to help you figure that out, obviously. Since you guys have no background knowledge then your only option is to see where it takes you. There's no way of telling what's in her genes.

Russian & 5'4" though?? Damn, she got lucky. Russian guys are usually pretty tall lol & she falls on the short end of the female average so she got very lucky.

In any case she is going to have to wait it out, BA isn't really recommended until she's been on hormones a while.

I have always believed that the natural way was the best way. After 3 or more years on HRT and not getting any enhancement, and totally barely an A cup, then maybe then for surgery. If one is athletic and larger boobs get in the way, in their case, less is better. One's lifestyle has a factor in all of this. As for me, bring it on, boobie fairy, I am not afraid of possible D cups. I am too old to worry about it at this point!

Yep, it's all about genetics. Just like cis girls roll the genetic dice, so do we. (And just like them, there's no guarantees, because sometimes there's throwbacks! My mother is tiny, but my sis and I take after a busty grandmother.) I don't think I believe the "one cup size smaller" theory, but even if it's true, everyone is right that it's still keyed to the hereditary aspect.

I know skinny, tiny cis women with big boobs and big, tall cis women who are small-breasted, so there's just no way to know. 🙂 But I do agree about getting implants too early - doing it 2 years in would be like a cis girl who's 10-13 getting implants (no reputable doctor would do it!).
