Emoicon's/smileys not displaying

For some time now not all of the smiley icons

are displaying on my computer. i think at one point i tried a java update with no change and i just updated the browser to IE 7 with no change.

the first twenty or so are not a problem i cannot get any from the [more] page

any ideas ??
