Kinda came out to my best friend the other day

I was texting my friend and mentioned being a bit down. After a bit of interrogation, I admitted that the main thing bothering me wasI hate being a guy. His reponse: "So? Change"

Not sure what I expected, but a bit more of a reaction than that! Still, great to get it off my chest to at least one person. One step at a time I guess

It's so weird how unaffected ppl have been by it. Way more do than telling ppl I like to date men. It's pretty rad! I think everyone has that one person who struggles with it in their circle tho. Unfortunately that person is often your significant other. I hope it felt great to get that off your chest!

Oh it did definitely I think though there will be at least one person who won't understand - my dad :/
