Hi everyone,

I'm new to this site, so I'm posting to introduce myself! A little about myself: My name is Claire, and I'm a university-aged trans girl who is in the USA. I've been transitioning for 19 months, and have been pretty silent about the difficulties I've faced throughout the course of it, so I find myself needing moral support.

My hobbies include fashion, fitness, soccer, being an autodidact, and designing things. :) Lastly, I find myself in this bizarre position in which I'm in uni and virtually no one knows that I'm trans, let alone non-op.  Lots of friends are not aware, and not all are very receptive people. Has made for a pretty unexpected college experience.

Hi, and welcome to Susan's, but didn't you have a previous account with a different username; Jasper, maybe? Sorry if I am mistaken. Anyway, welcome 😊

Hi Claire, welcome to Susan's. I know it can seem daunting when we first start out with all the people to tell and college doesn't make that any easier. Your among friends now and we are glad to help with the moral support. I hope you have a few friends in the end you can trust around you. It can really help, especially while in college. I look forward to seeing you around the forums. Good luck and Hugs
Mariah

Awh thx! And no, I don't have time to make clothes. Wish I'd have gone to school for fashion design, however.

Well maybe you can do it later, or start as a hobby.

If you are interested you might look up role play howtos, some clothes are easy to make and can look gorgeous...
maybe a nice elf outfit ?

Someone I know made a star trek costume ... you need two tshirts, some adornments and some time ...
and it usually looks great :) There is a vid on youtube how to do it ...
