Also, how soon is ok to start it? I've been on T for almost 3 months (After stopping a bit)

I have my notions, but I'm a layman. I strongly encourage you to talk to your doctor.

I wonder how doctors would feel about prescribing Proscar to have you cut it to make it cheaper.

I may have said before, but I've had mutliple doctors (about 4?) who were all fine with giving me a prescription for the larger dose with the plan to cut it into smaller doses in order to save money. The first doctor who suggested this merely made a point to emphasize how important it was that I take the prescribed dosage. He only prescribed enough for me to do so and said he would not renew my prescription if I didn't follow his instructions.

If that's the case then there is no hope for me to prevent facial hair?  I was looking at the information that someone else posted in another thread regarding this medication and it says  it may at least prevent new facial hair from forming. This was the page:

As for your link? not everything you read on the internet is true. As for how soon is it safe to start it? I'm not a doctor nor medical professional, but I have done considerable research regarding hrt for MTF's such as myself. However, because you are FTM, and knowing the side affects of this medication might not be favorable to you, you really need to speak with your Primary Care Doctor, or, your Endo if you have one regarding this question. Due to the nature of this medication I wouldn't feel right even giving an opinion on this especially to a FTM. Please, ask your Doctor before starting this medicine. I'm really sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Best wishes!

Unfortunately I had to stop taking Fina after 3 days.  The side effects were too brutal for me.  I had the worst testicular pain ever and just couldn't handle it anymore.  What a waste of $40.
I know this is an old thread but still I want to ask
what if FTM doesn not have ovaries (removed after operation) will still have sides from Fin?
