I am circumsized. I have heard that affects depth after srs, but I am also quite gifted both with length and girth. I am wondering if anyone else had enough length that the circumcision was not a concern by the surgeon. Also does it matter if its large while soft or small while soft? Mine doesn't look big, but it's very stretchy. Soft length 2.5" and erect length before hormones is 8"+ After hormones I am seeing closer to 6.5" to 7".

Any circumsized transwomen who have had srs and your input will be greatly appreciated. The internet gives vague answers about this stuff.

Thanks,
Tabby

It's stretched length - which may be more than you can achieve pre-surgery, since the surgeon doesn't have to worry about things like pain and straining the tissues!

I was circumcised and about 6" pre-op, and got about 5.5" of depth. (However, my surgeon was Brassard, who prefers to stop around 5-5.5" and use the remaining skin for additional labia detail. A better instance for your purposes would be to know that the only woman there who didn't get 5" or more without a skin graft was both circumcised and under 1" before; anyone over that size had adequate donor material for reasonable depth.)

incidentally, when I went off HRT for surgery, I also saw all the "shrinkage" reverse... I'd been down to like 2" on HRT, but it bounced back to its original size within a week!

Scroll down to "Dimensions of surgically created neovaginas" The penis skin isn't the biggest issue, it's the rest of your internal organs that limit things.

Thanks, that is very great information. Some places make it out to sound like a circumcision means being impossible without a leg skin graft lol.

Yeah, I've seen discussions like that. :) I think it depends partly on the surgeon's technique - surgeons who are used to working with uncircumcised patients are probably going to have more difficulty with someone who is.
