Hello, I'm new here. I wanted to ask some hormone brands that are over the counter. I couldn't afford a doctor that can help me with my hormones. Thanks :)

Hi Hon,

"->-bleeped-<-" is an offensive word to many here. Self medication is a very bad idea and will receive no support on this site.

Please see a Doctor to help you in your journey

I don't know if you would be in Australia or not so I am unsure  if I can help but I didn't pay much at all to access my pills. After seeing a gender psychologist , a psychiatrist ect. for a length of time(Which cost me nothing because of medicare) My treating doctor then prescribed me an antiandrogen . Then soon after oestrogen pills. Because of centrelinks healthcare card I get pills from the pharmacy at $6 a box or bottle.
Like were Cindy was going you really should see a doctor. As long as you do things the safe way. If you get pills from an unofficial source they could be tainted or useless. I don't know were you are up to in your transition but if you have already got pills the official way why can't you just go and see your local GP. to get more prescriptions..
If you are at the start of transitioning your GP or doctor can help you find a psychologist that will start you on your way. In the begining I went to a psychologist at a sexual health clinc
Oh, and if you actually have prescriptions made by a pharmacist you could ask them to provide you with some pills to get you through until the next time you see your doctor to get more prescriptions. They won't give you too many pills though.
To wrap this up, self medicating is potentually really dangerous so please don't do it :D

Even here in the USA HRT is cheap. Insurance covers my dr visits for a $15 copay and the actual prescriptions are $10 for for 90 pills which is a month's supply. Spiro is no charge to me as it is covered by insurance. Other medicines I take are like $2 to $5 copay. Really not much money at all. What does cost money is therapy and electrolysis.

There is really nothing OTC that can give satisfactory results unless you live in a country like Thailand or Colombia where hormones are available without a prescription, even then you should see a doctor to be properly monitored.
