Eye colour

Well my eyes used to be dark brown  know they are apparently hazel it is wierd

A year on from HRT and my eyes haven't changed. They're still dark blue with a bit of green. But I hear anyone with brown or hazel eyes often notice color changes more easily.

I really wish hrt could change eye color but I've been on it for over 2 years and my eyes are still the same freaky lavender/pink color they always were. But I do totally love tinted contact lenses!

Now I'm curious what HRT will do with my eyes. I've mentioned it before, but I have partial heterochromia. Blue with about 1/4th of my right eye brown. Would be interesting to see if that shifts any, I should get a good photo for comparison later.

I haven't noticed a change in colour.  They are still blue.  But the shape or something has changed about them.  They look brighter and very much more feminine. 

I never noticed before that there was a gender difference in the eyes.  Now I know that there definitely is.  Darned if I can figure out what the difference is, though!

Could it be the amount of water on the eyes making them shine more?

I have noticed it's pretty much impossible to get watery eyes any more. Even in a high wind on a cold day. Lying down makes them a bit wet at the corners sometimes but otherwise, I think hormones have reduced the amount of fluid there.

My eye color has changed a few times over the course of my life.

Originally bright bright blue.

Then they faded to a pale blue.

Shortly afterward they became green with a dark blue ring around the iris.

Theyve since settled on a grey with a gold starburst around the pupil and the dark blue ring around the iris.

Im sure it all reflect something in my biology/health if you follow iridology..

They do seem a lot wider and a lot brighter now 9 or 10 months on HRT but I attribute that to my no longer wandering through life sneering and scowling about everything and theyre finally open all the way now.
