Hello,

Im just wondering if it is safe to have a sexual intercourse with your partner without a condom? Im not talking about HIV or STD here. Im talking about if vaginal canal wouldnt be damaged if we our partner wont use condom? And also, can we just put lube inside our v canal rather than applying the lube to the guys penis? Doest it make a difference? Sorry for this newbie question.

Yes, the condom doesn't provide any protection for us that it doesn't for cis women, and in fact many trans women dilate without a condom as well.

Sure, you can try that. I used to put lube deep inside *and* lube up the dilator, early on. It helped.

dilation isnt like sexual intercourse. You just put it in and put it out after some time. Unlike sex intercourse, the penis goes in and out for a period of time (just explaining)

Yes, I know, but it's not like penises have spikes. :) If putting something in there without a condom won't damage anything, doing so repeatedly and quickly won't either. (Or rather, won't cause any damage that a condom could *prevent*; it's just barely possible for cis women to suffer vaginal tearing from intercourse, so presumably the same is true of the neovagina, but a condom won't protect against that.)

Also, dynamic dilation apparently does involve some motion, though I don't do it myself.

My boyfriend and I dont have sex anymore with a condom as we are in an exclusive committed relationship,  and i have not damaged my vagina.. my man is quite well built in that area... hehehe

We both have been tested for STD's and we are both clean, and I cant fall pregnant.. so we thought whats the point of using condoms.

Sex without condoms actually feels better, i feel more of him inside me.. I do douche from time to time.. to clean out any old man juice that is left inside me. I have been told not to douche too much as my vagina should start self cleaning itself.
Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was

I see... I just had a thought that since the skin inside the neovagina is diff from cis vagina it could cause damage.

Im only almost 8weeks post op but as early as now me and my boyfriend already having sexual intercourse. I know its way too early but I heal fast and my swelling were gone as early as 4weeks.

Well, better safe than sorry when newly post-op is true, yes. It sounds like things are going OK, though, and lack of condom shouldn't change anything in that respect. Brassard recommended waiting to 6 weeks, but some people definitely do heal faster than others.

(There are some studies suggesting that over time the skin changes to resemble that of the cis vagina, as well.)
