Increased Body Hair?!

I just hit my 5th months of HRT (WOO-HOO!!).   

I have had great feminalization. My skin is extremely soft, my face more rounder, my hips and curves starting to flare out, my breasts are growing and still sore when touched closely. I can now fill out an A cup bra but I've noticed that I have been getting body hair, which were pretty much nonexistent before my transition. I thought that HRT was supposed to decrease your body hair (not that I really had any to begin with), now I have growth around my stomach area and breast area. My leg hairs have lessen, and I am bless to not have any facial hair at all, but I see an increase in body hair around my stomach and chest area.   

Does anyone know why this is? Is this normal?

i think that it's normal. genetically, i am on the hairy side, but i did have little hairs in between my chest and also down my stomach. then again... i did shave my stomach once or twice when i was a kid haha. i do think it's normal though, so don't worry! does it look different from the hair you used to have?

Welcome to Susan's Great to have you here - looking forward to seeing you around the forum.

I guess the answer to your question might depend on a few factors. You say you didn't have much to begin with but now you do. I would think that if you are now growing body hair where there wasn't any much, unless you're a teen and still going through puberty, then that might be a bit odd. I'd have your Endo check your testosterone levels.
