I have a serious situation dealing government job, that i just got recently.  I will be working for a school district here in South Carolina.  I went through a in-service on thursday (Aug. 16), everything went fine and it was fun.  Finish paperwork up for job in Food Service (School Cafeteria).  I reported in the the school of where i'm working, and had no problems talking with cafeteria manager, and the school i will be working at I know half the staff, and they know my kids as well, because my kids will be going to the same school where i will be working.  When Friday afternoon came (Aug. 17), at 340pm,  I get a call from school district saying i will be working custodial and not food service which i have 7 years experience in at food service from working resturants.  I called the person back of who talked to orginally before the hire, just before i started taking to him, he said do you remember our agreement that you will be working custodial service, i told him in a professional way, and to my knowledge, i told him you never even said that from the beginning.  The guy just kept arguing on, and on, and he brung up another excuse about that i need a piece of paper about who is taking care of my kids after school why'll i'm still working up until 630pm.  I talked to my family, my church pastor, and some friends, they all say what they did was not right and that he is taking advantage of the situation and of me, and with him arguing on the phone with me was very un-professional.  My brotther came, over was aruging about that he would not let anybody work weither they are male with gender issue problem, and that he would not hire anybody that type of problem.  Is my rights be violated, from what i understand that companies are making there own laws and regulations, and state and local governments agree with them, and the federal laws are getting weaker everyday.  To me, i call this a very serious problem for the majority of the gender workforce, and its just not only South Carolina, i've seen this happen in Florida.  It sounds like to me, that our medical records are given away to these companies for judging, and critizing the gender people, in not to hire them, because of their gender issues.
