Hint: don't tell anybody that it sounds like "A-Man-Duh" and it'll never occur to them.  It had never occurred to me until you mentioned it.  But it is a lovely, very feminine name.  "A girl to be loved": absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Thank you, That eases my concerns. :)

I've actually thought about my name, legally, I'm Michael, but I don't want to be Michelle or Mikayla (however its spelt) so, I decided on Valkyrie. A Valkyrie is a mythical Norse creature said to decide who lived and died on the battlefield and also directed heroes to Valhalla, where they would party and stuff, basically like heaven. Sorry about the history lesson :/

@GeorgE the name George-Ann sounds really good! :) Ann is very common for a middle name locally. :3

@Fitzyfoop Valkyrie would be a very unique name. :o it's definitely not a name I've seen locally. :oo

When I was writing up my list of girl's names I was stealing the names of book characters and Valkyrie was one.

Mine came from a list of unisex names :) lol it took me awhile to decide it was between skylar and Taylor. (One of my nephews got named Taylor). So I went with skylar. :P
