Besides beard, what else should be lasered?

I've always been a very hairy guy and have hair almost everywhere...full chest/stomach, all the way up my arms and onto my shoulders...the back of my hairline.

Obviously getting my full body lasered would probably be mega expensive.  If I go on HRT, would that take care of most of the body hair?  What should I get lasered besides my beard?

Depends on how thick, coarse, extensive and dark your body hair is. Sounds to me it is fairly full on. You could try waxing but that isn't permanent. HRT will slow and reduce the thickness and coarseness over time but again that won't get you to female level for a long, long time, if ever. If you can I'd suggest laser everywhere you don't want hair. And do it before the hair becomes light in colour because there's no lasering that stuff!

I had my face, chest, pits, bikini and south pole done. The latter of which is because I was pre-op at the time.

At one point I was sure I would have to do my back...every hair shed off my back from HT though.

Just had my legs done and going in for chest and tummy next week. Arms and tush area after Christmas. My hair is extensive and shaving / waxing / depilation are non-starters because I break out. I know the hair is supposed to get finer, lighter, and slower with hrt, but I want to get it greatly reduced early on while it's thick and black. Also, some areas are slowly graying and so the sooner the better. Sadly, the charts that I've seen say that only about 20% of the leg hair is active at any time, so I guess I'll be old friends with the laser lady by the time this is over.

God it's nice having smooth legs--I've always detested that hair.

Fingers and hands would be a good place to remove also. GG fingers are mostly smooth and hairless.

Hi Jessica;
After gettings ones upper and lower lip cleared, I recommend getting your bikini line; upper pubic area (to get a small pubic female patch) and for me the upper thighs. I am also getting my décolleté area layered to accentuate the cleavage between my B Cup breasts.

I was in the full hairy category when I started HRT and laser at roughly the same time, actually had laser a couple weeks before HRT. I had gotten a 6 session groupon for face, chest, abdomen and back, by either the 3rd or 4th session, there was no point in doing anything but the face and they let me start transferring treatments to other areas and I got full legs and bikini line 2x and full arms once.

So most laser technicians are happy to work on the, er, "pubic area"?  I'm too embarrassed to ask :embarrassed:, but if it's something they're used to then I might raise the topic at my next appointment.

How would that conversation even start?  Just jump right in and ask?

I asked mine.  She said that she and the other technician don't do the full genital area but the consultant they work for does, so I'll be trying to set up appointments with him once I can actually pluck up the courage.  That would be SRS prep though -- the technicians at my place are happy to work on the peripheral areas (bikini line, etc.) themselves.

I know hrt doesn't clear body hair for some, but it cleared all of mine.  I wasn't super hairy to begin with tho, but there was enough that it was a source of dysphoria for sure.
