Fat distribution, where does it start

I am 11 week into IM estrogen, I have had an increase in my "male" waistline of over 1.5 inches where my old waist line is gone with the old demarkation absent. I see buttock changes in shape but no change is overall measurements and my weight is stable. Has anyone experienced these changes in fat distribution first. If so, how did it progress from there?

Idk, I'm pretty early but I'm noticing I'm getting like fat on my hips for the first time.

I'm probably the only one I know happy that they're forming a muffin top.  :3

Thank you for the response. I have had a huge change in spin softness, and my old waistline is gone entirely. I am hoping to see if this is a normal progression, or at least experienced by someone else.

The first place I noticed was in my face.  Fat seemed to move up higher in the cheeks, slimming the jaw and rounding out and defining the cheeks more.  (From what I had read I was scared that more fat in my cheeks might make me look puffy, but the opposite was true - my bone structure is more defined now.)

Now I can see changes in the rest of my body, but I have no idea when they took place.  I certainly never noticed it happening.  Friends started noticing and commenting before I ever did.

In my first two months on the estradiol spray (which I have since discontinued because it was too weak), I noticed some fat shift from my waist and abdominal area to my butt, causing proportional spreading of the waist and hip measurements. Also in those two months, I noticed a shift from the sides and back to the chest. Both changes became evident within 3 weeks and continued until 2 months had passed. My weight did not change during that time. However, I admittedly did a rather excessive amount of walking then, some of it in hilly areas. I seem to require a combination of estradiol and physical activity to see any redistribution. When I am inactive there is no improvement and sometimes it even goes back the wrong way!

Never underestimate the power of estradiol or the people who have it.

People keep saying I am losing weight but I am the same weight.

My face is pale and there is a layer of fat under the skin and my cheeks are rounder. My stomach is going down slowly. I did notice a little larger hips by 2 inches.  My skin is butter soft :)

Mine started around my face and almost immediately in my lower extremities i.e. thighs and legs. Fat has completely taken over my muscles on my legs and my jaw line has become less prominent as the fat moved over to the cheek area :)
Nothing ventured nothing gained

Our lab developed a transdermal spray that worked pretty good! Didnt know any were out there?

My cheeks started having fat redistributed to the top area of the cheeks.

I videoed my own changes for myself today.  I have a front-butt.  Never had one before, just a spare tire before HRT.

My legs are showing uneven fat pockets, for lack of a better term.

More fat in my arms in certain areas than muscle now.

A little fat in the hips, but not much yet.

Yes, I need to lose more weight!!

Only a couple months into HRT, but I swear all of my new fat is going straight to my thighs and butt and a little to my boobs.  It's amazing.

I've been such a fat girl this month, and I might keep it up for another week before restarting my diet.

I'm 5'9" and I weight 150lbs when I started HRT.  I looked rail thin and almost sickly... now I only weigh 154lbs, but there is a huge change because my muscle mass is quickly diminishing and the fat is getting spread around.  I think I am going to get up to 160 or 165 before trying to bring it back down!
