Hello All! :)

I had the vagina packing removed on 12/22 and my depth was at 6".  Then yesterday on 12/23 was my first 15-minute dilation session and it hurt sooooo bad I started sweating during the process and thought, "I'm just never going to have sex with a guy if it hurts this bad!" My depth for this session was 5.5inches-6inches.  Is this normal to be in so much pain?  I was exhausted afterwards.  I'm having so much anxiety about my session today which will be a 20-minute session.  I can't even imaging using the thicker stents.  :(

You need to learn to relax and yes it does come with pain of the PC muscle.

Time is needed to streaching and healing

Hi BWgirl

I'm a chet girl too. Had my initial few dilations and it hurts like a bitch too. In fact i felt it was more painful than removing the catheter!!!

I asked Sri and she said it was normal so don't worry it's not gonna be like that for life.

I am going to do my first dilation(without being monitored by Sri) tonight and I hope it goes well too. Slow and steady. Removing is easy for me. Just going in hurts a lot.

Mrs. Izzy, thank you so much for your advice. I did relax my PC muscle and it helped a great deal. I'm back to a depth of 6inches!

Hello Blackponyx,

I hope that you saw my message to you yesterday on someone's topic.  Dilation went a little better for me this afternoon.  Sri came to my room and told me to dilate for 20 minutes and then she said that she'd be back when my time was over.  So 40 minutes later she returned and I was still dilating.  Hopefully tonight goes better as well too!

Sorry that I didn't get a chance to see you at the cottages when I was there when I first arrived.  I'm praying that the doctor will let me go home before January 7th.

It will hurt for a month or so but as long as you keep dilating and don't stop, after a month it should be less painful. I hated the first few weeks after srs. But after a month and a half, you'll feel better with dilating.

You're very welcome! Dilating is a pain and I also do get lazy or don't wanna have to deal with pain but it's something that crosses my mind that I HAVE TO OR ELSE. Lol

Hope you're recovering well :)

BWgirl,

i hope dilation is better for you now. I'm doing 3x30 mins for now and I have to say it still hurts going in but a lot better and i feel more 'in control'. 2 kinds of pain/discomfort. First - the tightness/deep sore kind of pain. Like severe constipation/trying to break through an obstructed hole. Second - skin tearing/raw and fresh exterior wound kind of pain.

Going in is a little ok up to 3 inches i remove it entirely and reinsert it - a trick Sri taught which i found useful. She says this releases the pressure inside. 3 inches and beyond...up to about 5.5 inches fairly manageable i close my eyes twist it and take deep breaths and it goes in pretty easily.

Then the final challenge is hitting the 6 inch mark i'm always left with like this 1/4 inch that i can't/find it difficult to reach so I'm always stuck at the ''almost 6 but not yet'' stage but i always feel like it has already reached the end and am afraid of injuring it. Maybe i lost a 1/4 inch of an depth? Sometimes it's fine sometimes the last 1/4 inch is tough.

In any case, I hope you are recovering well and I am sure you will be able to head home soon. :)

Hello Blackponyx,

I completely agree with you about the two types of pain/discomfort.  I have so much anxiety before I start dilating that  it takes me a good 5-10minutes to get past that 3inch mark.  Then I just move the stent back and forth and I twist it around too, then I'm able to go in to about 5.75". I take a few pics of the stent completely in me so I can always record that I'm at the same depth each time.  Honestly I seriously thought having a pussy meant it wouldn't feel like a dick rammed up my ass.. Boy was I mistaken! (Sorry for the crude comments)   :)

So much to face in the next couple of weeks it seems. I seem to be continually typing myself with the 'most painful' or 'most unusual', or whatever it might be most of. At least everyone seems to be going through the same things, that helps to know. Just need to stay strong and keep upping my game i guess.
