HRT and unsolicited erections.

Ok so I've been on a strong dose of Spiro for 18 mos and Estrogen via patch 6 mos ( low dose for first 3 mos, medium dose for last 3 mos).

I still get erections spontaneously.  If happy or such. I HATE THAT!  Any tips on what to do?  My endo says I'm lucky that it's still highly functional. Id prefer slighly functional

I switched to cyproterone acetate and the erections are all but gone. It of course may not be available to you if you are in US.

Increasing E dose, spiro or switching to/adding another AA could help. You need to discuss with your doctor and decide TOGETHER.

I'm only about a month in, but mornings are gone. Thank god for that. However I still get them. The good news is that it seems to be once a week instead of 10x per day.
