Transgender policy is misguided

Regarding "AMA meeting: Anti-discrimination policy expanded to transgendered" (AMNews, July 16 🔗 [Link: ama-assn.org/amednews/2007/07/16/prsk0716.htm/]): This is a classic example of a delusion of compassion while aiding personal destruction.

Anyone who cannot accept "his gender identity" as it was defined at the moment of conception can only be further confused by "a tolerant environment."

Where do they find these people.  What do they want?  Transsexuals put back into straight-jackets and padded cells.

Perhaps we need to keep a list of these individuals and put it out there so T individuals and our supporters can avoid them.

Oh, I don't know. I think "some day" is closer than you think.  Almost every week a celebrity, politician or civil servant gets fried by the media.  Many loose their jobs.  Also, my shrink had/has clients that were accused of hate crimes or forced too seek counseling because of their hate.  I can imagine someone where I work forced to see a shrink or loose their job because of their bigotry.  They don't take kindly to that in this company.

I like the idea of keeping a list of individuals to be avoided.

I know of a person who did lose their job because she was a bigot. I won't go into details but just happened this weekend.

I would love to delve with Dr. Tharp deeply about this. I wonder if she undertands what gender dysphoria and transgender are. Does she know what being transgender is about? Many people who discriminate against transgender and gender variant people have no clue what it is.
