Hi girls!

I am booked to undergo FFS with Dr. Zukowski in Chicago come October, 2014. I am VERY excited. I have been saving up for this for well over a year now, since I first made contact with Zukowski and the wonderful Cole. I have been a fan of Dr. Z's work since I first began my transition at age 16. I am now 21, so suffice to say, that is a long time to remain consistently impressed with a doctor's work! (Mind you, the majority of the "arguments" he receives against his technique are usually some of what I consider the high-points of his technique. For example, I love a ski slope, Kate Beckinsale type nose. To each her own.)

I have previously posted in reference to my Orchiectomy experience with Dr. Arnkoff in Michigan, as well as my Hormone Pellet Implant experience with Dr. John O'Dea of California. Both of which I have been very pleased with.

Now I am interested in hearing recent anecdotes regarding surgery with Dr. Zukowski for FFS, as well as Dr. Saran for SRS (which I am also hoping to undergo in the near future). Particularly in the case of Dr. Saran, there just isn't enough information available! He seems to consistently satisfy the aesthetic/functional wishes of his patients, and his price ($9k!!!!) is out of this world for how pleased those whom have had his surgery seem to be with him, not to mention it is roughly a 3 hour procedure with him, and a relatively short recovery period! (Particularly as compared to the other SRS surgeon I am interested in, Dr. Suporn.)

I hope there will be some girls who can tell of recent experiences with these surgeons! I will certainly be back to report my experience with Dr. Z as well as Saran if I end up opting for him as my SRS surgeon.

Thanks for reading & responding!

Several members of the Chicago Gender Society had work done on them and they were very happy. The Chicago Gender Society has a web page on the internet.

Two of the members in my real life support group had FFS with Dr. Z. One is only 6 days post op and both are very happy. A great job was done they said and they were treated well. The person who had it two years ago looks incredible. The recent person is still swollen quite a bit, but very happy. They give glowing recommendations. :)

Both lovely replies, Jessica & Janet! Thank you so much. :)

I'm definitely confident and pleased with my choice. As I stated, I've been a fan of Dr. Z's work for 5-6 years now, never really wavering in favor of any other surgeon. It's funny that certain aspects of a surgeon's technique can completely alienate one individual, and be the main attraction for another. I think the cliche with Dr. Z is that his work is "too perfect" or, somewhat surprisingly (to me anyhow), it is often seen as "too pretty." Personally, that's what I love about it. I just wish there were more results readily available online. Though, I can completely understand why one would wish to remain anonymous, particularly after wonderful work.

I've had a lot of people tell me "you have such a great thing going for you naturally, don't screw it up!" but I've honestly never felt so sure of any decision. I like the idea of melding the natural beauty with the "superficial" perfecting of the features. SRS, on the other hand, feels incredibly daunting to me and I'm really torn up over what to expect. If I knew there was a surgeon that could guarantee a consistent result in terms of aesthetic and function, then I would thrust myself upon an operating room table tomorrow morning. The mixed results are what concern me, particularly since I have lived totally stealth even pre-op for the past 3 years, and I want SRS to be an extension of that ultimate ideal of complete stealthiness, not something that hinders it.
