Hi Tracy,

   Welcome to Susan's Place!!!

Do you mean MTF?    It doesn't matter, you're welcome here no matter what.   :)

Can you give us a little more of your story?  Nothing crazy, just how do you feel and stuff like that.
What kind of activism have you been involved with?

Peace,

Rebis

LOL MtF is what I meant.

Anyway I am 40 years old oops 41 that is.  I live in Brooklyn, NY and have been in transition for the last 20+ years.  I am currently in school with 2 semesters left to complete my BS in Community and Human Services.  I work as a case manager for people living with HIV/AIDS.  I have been in the field of activisim for about 10 years give or take.  I moved to NY from Oklahoma, Muskogee.  I have been in NY for about the 12 years or so.

I am in the process of writing a book about my life and the trans-experience as I lived it.

I am suing the MTA (Public Transpotation) for gender discrimination in direct challenge of INT. 24 (The amendment to the NYC human rights bill including trans)

Outside of that hey I can't complain besides complaining won't work anyway.

Hi, Tracy, welcome!!

I'm happy to make your acquaintance.  I was born in Brooklyn 52 years ago and grew up in Ridgewood.  It's nice to see someone from the old "home town."

Good luck in your fight with the MTA.  You'da thunk they would have learned from that suit against the transit cops.

I hope we'll be seeing more from you real soon!
