Made out with a guy - should I tell him?

Happy new year everyone!!

We all know new year eve parties can get crazy. I went to a party, where this really cute guy started chatting me up and we ended up making out. I know what happened was in the heat of the moment, not to be helped by the fact that I was sooooo drunk.

I am wondering if I should tell the guy about me. I don't see myself taking this any further. What happened was a one-night thing for me. I am not even sure if I will ever be seeing him for a really long time (we are from different cities).

Any thoughts on whether I should tell him?

If it's a one night only thing and you're never likely to see him again (given the distance), then I'd say leave it. You were drunk and he was probably too.

Knowing guys as I unfortunately do, I suspect you'll never hear from him. If you do, just tell him the truth that you were drunk, taken up with the celebrating, and acted like an idiot. Now, if he wasn't tanked.... Just blow him off, or fess up

Thanks for your answers ladies. My therapist also had the same opinion that I should let it go and not think about it much. So that is exactly what I am going to do...
