I went to use the kitchen faucet and the handle housing blew off and started squirting water in all directions  :o  Luckily I was able to quickly reach in under the cabinet and turn both water sources off then gathering the parts up and reassembling was much easier than I expected and I had it working again in about ten minutes  8)  Now it works better than when the maintenance guy first installed it

I had a blood test!
Glad I'm making progress/getting tested for conditions and hopefully going to get answers soon. Blood tests themselves don't bother me, but... the nausea that comes after is absolutely awful. Thankfully my house is only a bus ride away from the clinic I had the test at, and my results should be sent to my GP in the next few days, but I feel pretty tired from having to wake up so early.

My trip to Spokane this December just got a bit easier. Originally I had planned to just deal with my transcripts then, but I have been able to make contact with them and see if another option was available. Turn out my College transcripts were easy to deal with.  The one that goes along with my Bachelor's degree I was able to submit everything electronically and have updated quickly. The one for my two year degree I have to send the physical documents in, but then they can change it. The unhappy part is my high school transcript is too old and they won't touch it since the physical copies no longer exist. 2 for 3 isn't bad.

Went to my car to go up to store to get my boss lady to take my deposit to the bank when she goes and my car starts, but then shuts down right after. Wouldn't restart, just cranks. Thought that I would have an expensive problem, so got my brother's beach suv from next door since he hasn't taken it over yet, went to trash dump and then to store. Got back home, googled the problem and found out that the theft system had kicked in on its own. Did the stupid reset thing for almost 15 minutes, then it started. I think after the thing gets its state inspection, I'll order the resistor and go on and bypass the theft system altogether. Apparently its a common issue with that model.

my guitar playing is really sloppy today for some reason, probably the same reason i feel so tired and my eyes keep closing. i act like Jimmy Page nodding out after a 3 day bender but i'm sober as always.

but on the upside, my singing has dramatically improved, but my voice is unrecognizable compared to my speaking voice. i thought i had to sing in a deep voice thanks to my speaking voice obviously having gone down, but nah, mid-range it is.

Sweetie is taking a class this weekend which is going to make my commute tomorrow rougher than it typically is on Saturday. She suggested I attend tonight's session with her tonight. It's on past-life regression and there will likely be a mass hypnotic regression. He usually does one the first session. I'm on the fence with reincarnation but I do believe that these kinds of regressions can generate psychological insights. This would be the first time I've done it since I realized I'm trans and I'm curious and a bit nervous as to what might come up. I may just wait for her in the cafe or not go at all.

Just FYI, this is the psychologist (yes, he's still practicing) that Sweetie studied the technique with. We're both trained hypnotists.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

Today I attended a memorial service for a close friend that took her own life last August. The family waited until now to have a service for her. We worked together when I attended The University of TN under a professor who was also there at the memorial service. It was great to re-connect back to some old friends whom I've lost contact with over the years. Most others friends are on Facebook and obviously knew I had transitioned, all with wonderful support. A few that were not on Facebook did not recognize me at all until the professor told them who I was and it was fun to see their reactions, all positive.

After passing a group of people at work I heard them talking behind my back about how a "man" isnt supposed to look "pretty". This made me super happy (I was floating on air the rest of the day), while at the same time annoyed that not only is that a thing, but that was considered an appropriate discussion while I was still right there.

Today I received a tax refund of £600 from Her Majesty's Government. Much obliged, Your Maj! ;D

But that's just about enough to clear my overdraft, so no wild spending spree for me.

Received the forms to change the name on my license but need my passport number which I don't have. I have to have a new passport anyway as work needs a copy, but now I'm thinking it may be best to wait until I'm on hormones to change my license otherwise I won't look like the same person. On the one hand it would be nice to have ID with my real name, on the other I only want to go through this faff once.

That's what I did; I couldn't face having new mugshots taken until the T started working, but as soon as I looked passable enough I got my passport first & then my licence using my new passport number. You're going to be looking at those photos for years, so it does make sense to wait until you're on hormones IMHO, otherwise you're likely to get a spike of dysphoria every time you have to use your ID.

I presume work only needs ID because by law they need evidence that you're eligible to work in the country? If you were born in the UK, you don't need photo ID to prove your right to work: you can also prove it by providing your full birth certificate and an official document confirming your National Insurance number (they'll post one to you if you ring them up). Obviously you'll need your Deed Poll too if you intend to work under your new name.

Oh, and you can change your name with HMRC (and update your National Insurance number) without getting a new passport or driving licence first. ;)

Thanks for the help man :). I did already give work a copy of my birth certificate but they said they'd aldo need a photo, so wasn't sure :/. Oh and I did sign the form from HMRC earlier :)
