I have had so many ask how I am doing so I am once again visiting a while here. Life could not possibly be any better for me right now. I have made so many new friends both online and real life it is almost scary. My therapist said I have gotten to the point there really is not anything more they can do for me as I am not unhealthy and am well adjusted. The last few sessions have been more of a family reunion than anything. :) I am at a year HRT (high) and over a year RLE. Yesterday I finally got my name change and am officially me!!! After getting it signed I went to my Jeep and cried a half hour or so. 40 years of repression and sadness completely disappeared and I am still floating on air today. I have a girl from here fixing to move in with me so she can have access to the same love, support and medical providers I did. It will be good for her and her development. I am moving up the food chain and have become an advocate or activist (not sure which) for trans rights and support. Life has never, ever been this good and I am so happy and comfortable it is just indescribable. I thank everyone here who has been E-mailing or messaging on Facebook for their honest concern and caring for me. It means more than you realize and I will try to stop by here more often. Peace, love and happiness to you all!! :)

I love hearing positive news, following some of us as we elvolve has been very encouraging. I really respect those that become advocates but then again having followed so many of your past posts I kinda figured that was your direction amd gift to us. Keep updating us, I am not in a good space at present and its good to hear such nice news,
When we first start our journey the perception and moral values all dramatically change in wonderment. As we evolve further it all becomes normal again but the journey has changed us forever.

Jessica!!! Talk about a surprise. My mind has been on you, girl, quite a lot.

I am so glad things are working out. You have always been an inspiration to me personally and I admire your spirit.

You made a pretty big impression on me when I joined Susan's. Your posts are always informative, light hearted and imparting of experience and wisdom. Also having been a first responder myself, I know and can relate to the life.

I was worried when you left but I am glad you are back.

Glad to have you back!

That is all good.  Very good.

To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.
