Hi everyone,

My name is (will be) Jessica Jaclyn Hanna Reimer. I live in Surrey, BC, Canada, and I am overjoyed that I finally came to accept myself as transsexual. I've spent a lot of years denying that, because I thought it was too scary. Well, the fear went away when I came out to everyone as 'somekind of' transgender. It was then a short trip accompanied by a few therapy sessions to figuring out I was Jessica.

Glad to be here, and I hope to be involved in the community. I recently joined a canadian transgender forum, but there isn't a lot of activity on it recently, so I'm branching out. :)

Off to bed for now, will start perusing the forums tomorrow.

Thanks everyone - so many posts here - hard to find a jumping in point. :) Trying to get my wife interested in the SO forum too. I'm one of the lucky ones where our marriage has improved since coming out as a woman. Always nice to have a positive outcome to share.
