I just wanted to say hello as I've been reading these pages for a while and I finally got round to registering.
I'm a 34 year old mtf and I'm from Southampton in the UK. I've been transgendered as for long as I can remember but it's only recently that I'm really starting to do something about it. I've spent the last 18 months trying to prove to myself that it might just be possible for me to sucessfully transition. The jury is still out, but I'm not sure I can live out the rest of my life as a male anymore and now I'm already 3 months into electrolysis.
I haven't been to a Dr or any sort of councelling yet. I'm hardly out to anyone at all and really dreading having to come out! I have spent so long trying to live as a man, I think mainly due to social pressure to conform. I'm basically living as a girl whenever I can but only when I'm safely away from people who know me as a man. It's kind of confusing!
Anway I wanted to say thank you to you lovely people at Susan's as I've been doing a lot of reading on here and found it really uplifting and great advive too
