OK, I know how that sounds, (really this is not an intended pun) all those old phrases 'not wrapped too tight etc. etc come to mind.  Thinking about it I'm not sure why the idea of an internet search never crossed my mind before.  So let me say what this is about prior to going any further.

For a number of years I would periodically hear music, very faint music.  There is a distinct difference in mentally pulling up songs from memory and actually hearing sounds, as I'm sure everyone can relate to.  This has always been one of those things that just refuses to be nailed down.  I used to hear what could very very plainly be what sounded like I was hearing a radio playing music, but 'always' the words and tune remained undefinable and just on that fringe of being able to make it out.  Here is what does not make sense, I live in the country with only one road (I have walked out to see if someone was walking playing a radio, nope) mostly surrounded by woods.  When I would try to ID locations like walking out to the road, I knew all to well I was doing this just to check off the possibility from a list, and this is why.  As real as the sound was, so was the location, it always came from inside my home.  I know, I know, it is not rational, it makes no sense but is nonetheless just as real.  I just returned from searching the web on this and was shocked to find how many people have heard this.  I did have to spend quite a long time weeding through everything from mental disorders, medical issues, to spirits.

Well curiosity won out and so here it is.  I had no idea whatsoever where to put this, as I did not want opinions to be too skewed by placing it in addiction, religion, and so on.  NOW the QUESTION:  Has this happened to anyone else?  Oh yeah, every single time I have been alone, and happens about every couple months or so.

I know I've posted strange things but this time I'm prepared to hear just about anything  ::).   Dani
