What top surgeons perform on patients under 18? I've been looking into it, but it seems like there aren't a whole lot. So far all I've found is Dr. Crane and Dr. Medalie. Does anyone know of any others?

Most surgeons want full consent so you can't actually give it (legally). Medalie is an excellent surgeon, I'd go for it. :)

I'd expect that any surgeon would want consent from a parent or guardian for someone under 18 -- too much liability risk otherwise. Is that not the case for those two?

This is absolutely the case. But some surgeons also require consent from the individual they are doing surgery on. But some will do surgery on someone with their parents consent, no doubt will require at least 1-2 therapists letters also.

I understand I need parental consent, that's not the issue. I just wanted to know what my options are.
