I was browsing the web for Liposuction pictures, and came across one that seemed too good to be true. The before picture showed a girl built similar to me, and the after picture showed where I'd like to be. It was a dramatic change. I don't want to have false hope, but if this can be done, I'd like to have that surgery.

This particular surgery was performed by "Grand Plastic Surgery" in Seoul, South Korea.

Here's the image:

Does anyone have any experience with them, or seen reviews about them?
What kind of prices are we looking at?
Is the quality of service as good as would be found in the US?

Isn't 10lbs the max of mass (blood, fluid, and fat) that can be safely removed?

I'm wondering how long it will take for the skin to shrink back..

Just ago, I watched a TV report on liposuction in Seoul. Yes. It becomes very popular not just among 20s, but even among 50s. It is far safer than people expect. The doctor said that the liposuction procedure is ideal for those people who have already decreased their body lipid, especially subcutaneous fat, by exercise and diet. The procedure is effective in decreasing the remaining fat in belly, buttocks and thighs. Some young women at their 20s get liposuction for decreasing the fat in their chin.

You need to continue diet and exercise after liposuction. If your weight increases by > 5 kg after the first liposuction session, then you need to get the second session, which the doctor says is easier than the first session.

He also cautioned against believing in hospital advertisements focusing only on drastic before-and-after photos, saying patients should pay more attention to possible side effects.

Hmmm, I always thought South Korea would have better regulations on things like that.

Can anyone recommend an affordable but quality licensed surgeon in the San Francisco Bay Area? Preferably one that can do dramatic liposuction, and jaw and chin contouring.

Honestly..... I prefer the before pic.... Looks way way way way too skinny on the "Grand" after....

To each their own..... I'd honestly consider eating less or skipping meals and doong regular exercise instead.... Thats how I'm happily at 54kilos :D
