Hi, I figured should introduce myself, my name Is Ray. After quite a few years of ignoring most of myself I discovered (or finally admitted) that I'm a guy. It's been a lot of ups and downs getting to this place where I can admit it out loud but I feel so much more peace inside since putting words to it and saying it out loud, like a huge weight was lifted.
I am out to a handful of friends whose reactions were essentially "that makes sense" and "yeah, we were wondering how long it'd take you to figure it out". I'm also out to my daughter, mostly because she asked directly if that was what was going on.
I'm currently in therapy for this but thought it would be good to have another place to learn and talk to people as I go through my process and figure stuff out.
