my nipples stretched

So I had top surgery with Dr Raphael and for about a month everything was fine. I was always warned about scar stretching but nobody told me my nipples could stretch, and they did. My friends said my nipples look 'awkward' and my brother's always making fun of them. The right ones slanted to the side and the left is a big piece of areola with a nip at the bottom. Its not the doctors fault, its mine, and its making me a little dysphoric.

Dude, just chill. Your nipple looks fine, don't let these guys get under your skin especially if it's your brother!

I have three of them!! They pick on me and each other constantly, it's not your body, they just like to toy with you!! It's that simple. Brothers mess with each other just mess with them right back!

It's not you're fault either, when you do keyhole surgery which I assume you had its always a possibility that your nipples will stretch a little. Because the skin on your areolas are more fragile (not sure if that's the right word but I think u understand what I mean) that happened to me too. My nipples are perhaps a little bigger than most guys but I don't really think about it and I never had any comments about it either. It's your brother that's prob why he's commented on it I don't think any strangers would give it a thought or anything.

I had double incision with nipple graft. And no, I think it's because I walk around with my shirt off at home a lot. I don't think its a brother thing. The first time I took my shirt off with friends they noticed it.

Ha!  Thought you meant you had three nipples...

But really, don't sweat it man...  Seems like a big deal now, I am sure, and sorry it is bumming you out, but give it some more time.  My nipple grafts continued to change for about a year and a half post-op and they are still weird looking, but, well, they are the nipples I have.  Life is a journey.

I'm not sure how much advice I can offer since I've yet to have any surgery. All I can say is that all nipples look different and yours look pretty normal to me. I wouldn't know they were stretched if you didn't mention. Hell, I still can't tell. If it helps, the nipples I was born with are pretty weird looking. I have one that's normal and another that's inverted. I hope to keep them that way because they're unique and conversation starters.

By the way, next time you might want to reconsider hosting your pictures on photobucket. Oh God, my lungs.
