Severe Anxiety Attacks/Shock after T injection?

My first two shots were by a week. Third one was the same, but 2 days after the injection I woke up to what felt like the worst panic attack I've ever experienced.

I ended up going to the hospital. I could barely stand because I was shaking so bad. They hooked me up to the EKG and my vitals were 125/BPM for the heart rate.

They gave me xanax, it subsided and I went home. I skipped my next shot out of fear, but by the following week I felt fine. I went ahead and did a larger shot, to do them every 2 weeks solely because I didn't like getting stabbed in the ass so much.

3 days after, admittedly while I was getting high, I had yet another panic attack. It was a bit worse than the first. My brain felt cold, tons of pressure, numb feeling in my arms that eventually traveled to my lips and gums. I thought I was dying and went to the hospital again.

They gave me alzapram or something, and then some benadryl to help calm me down. They eventually sent me home with vistaril and amoxicillin for a sinus infection.

This whole thing is making me not want to try shots anymore. It's scared the living hell out of me. I'm making an appointment for blood tests and a general exam for next week, but I'm thinking of switching to gel/cream.
Anyway...

Has anyone with a history of anxiety or PTSD have experiences with this?

Edit dosages.

I've had anxiety attacks from smoking weed while on hormones as well. Either alone never gave me serious attacks, but for some reason the two don't mix.

I would suggest not smoking or, at the very least, smoking only a little. Doing shots still gives me minor anxiety, but not nearly as bad if I stay away from weed.

I'm on E instead of T btw. :)

Could be the THC reacting to it, I was a daily smoker but I haven't touched the plant since my last episode. I'm going to try gel for a while and see if that helps at all. :)

My roommate smokes with me and she is also on estrogen shots/antiandrogens and she hasn't reacted anywhere near as badly as I have. But everyone is different!
