Hey everyone I have a question about brow bone is there a way to contour it with makeup? Everything I found so far involved surgery. (Which I don't have the money for) but I covered my brow bone up and I actually felt okay with my appearance. I figured some of you may have ideas (bangs don't work exactly well for me and I get bored of them).  I believe it's one of the main things holding me back (which I maybe wrong). I'm just trying to get to the point that people stop labeling me as a guy and this is the main thing that stood out.

Adjusting your eyebrows may help.  I have a friend who shaves her eyebrows and paints them on higher than they naturally would be, and she says that this helps give the illusion of a feminine brow bone.

What would you paint them on with? I have no experience in this area :3 lol I am awful with this stuff.

Hi Skylar, search for Joseph Harwood on youtube.

You need to highlight the center of your face especially the area between your eyes so it minimizes the appearance of your brow bone.
I would typically use MAC's Prep and Prime Highlighting Pen in Light Boost.

I will definitely look it up after school today. :3 I'm still not all the way out when it comes to presentation due to religious family. So I have to be careful with makeup.

An eyebrow product of your choice.  Anastasia Beverly Hills is a popular brand with many brow choices.  I use a pencil by Hourglass.  There is an interesting liquid eyebrow pen that Stila makes and MAC eyebrow pencils are popular as well.

Many brands have at least one brow product.

Even if you don't shave your eyebrows the correct shaping helps a lot, it also helps to highlight your nose and extend the highlighted area up to your forehead sorta fanning it out.

I second watching Joseph Harwood on Youtube, he's awesome :)

A dash of concealer underneath the eyebrows can help with the associated shadow from the overhang.

+1 to the shape of the brows, helps massively.

I know you said you get bored of bangs, but those probably work best of all!

My eyebrows did help a lot after they were shaped but they aren't exactly high enough to cover the brow bone as needed. I'm also quite limited on money so I probably can't buy makeup anytime soon.

This.  The brow bone has always been my *favorite* place to put highlight.  It's just so pretty and brightening.

I also really like to put a small amount around the inner corner of the eye, it can really brighten your eyes up. A really trick way to conceal "tired eyes".

Skylar- there are lots of great drugstore concealers you can use on the cheap. And with the small amounts you might use (you really want to be sparing with a concealer anyway), it will last you a verrry long time. I think I have had my little thing of cover fx "total cover creme foundation" from sephora for over a year and I still have 1/3 of it left.

By the way, I love that stuff. I know there are also good drug store makeup alternatives.. Maybe someone here has one they can recommend at a better pricepoint.
