I dreamed that I walked on the beach in my Maidenform bra!
If you can remember those Maidenform print ads from the 50's and 60's, it really shows your age. The ads always featured a young lady doing something spectacular in a public place wearing her pointy Maidenform bra without a blouse. I was so envious when I was younger.
Well, last Sunday afternoon, I did just that. To be honest, I wore my Playtex 18 hour bra, size 42C under my long sleeve sweatshirt and Spanx under my cargo shorts. Not exactly dressed to the nines, but a definitely androgynous look. I felt wonderful.
As I walked on the beach, there was a number of people there. It was a bit cool for swimming, so most people were just walking as I was and a few got their feet wet just for fun. Walking on the beach, a few men stared at me a little longer than usual, especially since the gentle breeze was against me and my sweatshirt was pushed against my chest showing off my figure. I definitely got more than one double take. As I continued my stroll, I put a little sway into my hips. One woman gave me a big smile as if she knew what I was doing. I returned the smile.
All in all, a good day at the beach and it was not a dream, but a dream come true!
